Leaf-Shapes
from Life

. . . a congregation of 81 identified natural leaves collected over time from the yard, garden, pastures and woods right here at The Cutting Edge of Farfetched Farm in the rolling MOzarks hills.  After pressing and drying between the pages of a phone book, the foliage was scanned, selected, traced, and converted to path object shapes (with the notable exception of the poison ivy leaf which was PHOTOGRAPHED first then cut from the photo, etc. '-))  The only post-conversion editing performed was the straightening of stems that got lumpy and/or stringy during the tracing operation.

N.B.  This page does not display correctly in Opera or Firefox.  If you use Firefox and have Internet Explorer on your computer too, get the free IE Tab extension.  It adds options to Ff's toolbars and menus for opening or re-opening Internet Explorer-specific pages in Firefox tabs using IE's rendering engine.  It's convenient, works great, and will even allow you to use Firefox to access Windows updates.
Trés kewl! :-))
